I really felt personally looked after in the Jopenau, which is not a matter of course with such offers. It is noticeable that Maren and Katharina care about every single participant and their individual start-up journey. Maren in particular, with her experience in accompanying people into self-employment, conveys a secure feeling that the question is not IF, but HOW.
Although, or perhaps because, I am not a strong women's networker, I found the all-female group helpful and supportive in several ways.
Over the time (5 months) I learned a lot - about founding, and also about myself.
For example, that I don't have to be superhuman, that I don't have to be superwoman - that the "human" is enough to be really good.
... that I have already learned an incredible amount in my life - "that everything is already there", that I can start - and that I have the freedom (not the necessity) to learn everything and as much as I want.
... that I should consciously divide my time between work and private life - but not my personality. The whole me is in demand and valuable - for the people I reach (and only those I have to reach...)
... that I can put myself (also as a mother) at the center - and put other things on the back burner (people only have a limited amount of time)
... not to confuse low motivation and self-doubt with "it's not meant to be" ... the decisive factor is the decision ;-)
